With over five years of hands-on experience in residential care, I serve as the Group Home Manager at Upside Living, where I am committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for every resident. My professional strengths lie in staff leadership, behavior support planning, medication management, and ensuring full compliance with state and APD regulations.
I lead with compassion, consistency, and accountability— principles that guide my work every day. My goal is to help both residents and staff reach their fullest potential through structure, respect, and teamwork.
I am certified in CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, and Behavioral Intervention. Each day, I strive to make Upside Living a place where dignity, growth, and stability are not just goals, but everyday realities.
Nick Pastana
Group Home Manager
Since Upside Living opened its doors in August 2024, Nick Pastana has served as a founding manager, bringing a strong commitment to service and leadership from day one. With a heart for helping others, Nick has played a pivotal role in establishing the supportive, structured environment that defines Upside Living.
In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Nick became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a certified Professional Crisis Management (PCM) instructor—efforts aimed at enhancing both staff training and resident support.
Now stepping into the role of Managing Partner, Nick is excited to continue leading with integrity and compassion as he helps guide Upside Living’s growth and deepen its impact on the disability community.
